the Fox Run Vineyards 17th Annual Garlic Festival.
One of the summer season's most anticipated culinary events in Finger Lakes Wine Country is back for another year! Fox Run Vineyards Annual Garlic
Festival, takes place at the winery over the weekend of August 1 & 2, 2009, 11-5 each day.
What's at the Festival?
Garlic Food Tent
Our new Executive Chef, Heather Tompkins, and her staff have prepared a hearty, garlic fringed menu of Festival food available for purchase. We will offer suggestions for wine and food pairings for all the food offered at the festival:
grilled corn on the cob
french fries w/3 homemade sauces
40 clove BBQ pulled pork sandwich
grilled vegie & black bean wrap w/garlic-tomato salsa
Finger Lakes rippers w/chili & cheese
Fox Run garlic Italian sausage with peppers & onions
zucchini, tomato & mozz salad
Fox Run Beverage Barn
We offer our award winning wines by the glass or bottle as well as soda, ice tea and water. NEW THIS YEAR...additional wine satellite up the hill in front of vendors in Vineyard Row.
Tasting Room and Cafe
Throughout the festival, the Tasting Room and Cafe will remain open. Step inside for wine tasting, our gift shop and for additional food choices the Cafe inside is also open and will be serving sandwiches, salads, soups and more.
Cooking Demonstrations
Fox Run Vineyards Garlic Festival features renowned chefs from the Finger Lakes Region. Join us for great cooking demonstrations throughout the festival.

Garlic Lecturers and Demonstrations
We will be bringing you garlic lecture from an expert in growing, storing and otherwise handling garlic. Learn about the various forms of garlic such as green garlic, garlic scapes, fresh garlic, cured garlic and even pickled scapes.

From the East/West: Take NYS Thruway (90) to Exit 42, Geneva and follow signs for Route 14 South. Follow Route 14 South through Geneva and stay on Route 14 South for about 15 miles from the Thruway Exit. Fox Run Vineyards will be on Route 14 South on the Right side of the road.
From the South: From Watkins Glen, follow Route 14 North for about 35 miles and Fox Run Vineyards will be on the Left side of the road.
There will be parking attendants to assist you in finding a parking spot. This is a very busy weekend and you will be directed as to where you can park on the vineyard grounds.
