The 22nd Annual Glorious Garlic Festival Returns
August 2nd & 3rd

We invite you to join us for this cool-climate garlic festival which is one of the East Coast's hallmark summer happenings. Celebrating the numerous types of artisan garlic cultivated in the Finger Lakes region, thousands of enthusiasts will gather on the winery's verdant grounds, overlooking Seneca Lake, the weekend of August 2-3.

Congratulations to this year's poster contest winner, Jill Gussow. Her artwork will be used to promote the upcoming festival.

We have a great lineup of local and regional vendors joining us this year. Garlic farmers offering a total of 10 different varieties of cool-climate garlic to sample and purchase. There is a variety for everyone!

Live music will keep you entertained all weekend. Dave and Duane from the Town Pants will finish the weekend as well as Bob & Dee and Rebecca Collins and the Chore Lads.

The cooking demostrations will be in a tent of their own this year. Sponsored by Finger Lakes Public Radio WEOS, chefs from the region will put garlic in the center of their dishes. A listing with chefs and times are available HERE.

Complete details are available HERE.

The Town Pants are Ready to Rock on July 31st

To start the weekend off, The Town Pants will get the party started with a FREE concert on Thursday, July 31st. Enjoy a great night with music, food, and wine in the Finger Lakes.

Help the Community with a Donation to Yates County Christmas for the Needy

During the festival weekend, Fox Run will be accepting new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Yates County Christmas for the Needy. On May 14th this year, the organziation lost its toy inventory during the floods in Penn Yan. It was a devastating loss to the organization. Please stop by with a new toy donation and help us fill the bin!

Taking Steps to Becoming a More Sustainable Winery

We hope that by keeping our vineyard balanced and healthy it will allow us to produce a flavorful and balanced wine. At Fox Run, we have either instituted these practices in the vineyard or are working toward them, by minimizing sprays, and using a sprayer that recaptures excess material. We enhance soil vigor by adding hay between the rows. We monitor harmful insect populations and responding only when necessary. We maintain sod cover in the row middles to prevent erosion and maintain a more complex ecosystem.
